The object of the game is to score as many points as possible. The team that scores the greater number of points is the winner. Points are awarded for scoring a try or kicking a goal. A try, which is worth 5 points, is scored when the ball is grounded by a player on the attacking team within the opponent's in-goal area. A goal is scored by kicking the ball over the crossbar of the opponent's goal while remaining between the posts.

Victory is achieved if the opponent is knocked down and unable to get up before the referee counts to ten seconds (a Knockout, or KO) or if the opponent is deemed too injured to continue (a Technical Knockout, or TKO). If there is no stoppage of the fight before an agreed number of rounds, a winner is determined either by the referee's decision or by judges' scorecards.

Beach volleyball is an Olympic team sport that is played on sand. Two teams, positioned on either side of a net which divides a rectangular court, hit a volleyball, usually using the hands or arms. Players on each team attempt to hit the ball over the net in such a way that it touches the ground inside the court boundaries, and to prevent the ball from touching the ground on their own side of the court.

Lewis Hamilton's audacious bid to pull off a win on a three-stop strategy brought the Turkish Grand Prix alive, but there is confusion over whether he could actually have made it on two stops. This could have been quite a dull race, but it was saved by Lewis Hamilton doing a three-stop strategy, which kept the intrigue going until the end, and also by some excellent racing in the midfield with cars passing and repassing each other.

Trust me rugby guys especially league guy (which have a better and more at speed defense) are hard hitters. The thing is that tackles aren't just big hits but big hits: -that secure the ball (prevent offloads), -drives the opponent back (lifting and driving with the legs or big hits) and -slowing down the play the ball (giving your team more time to reset their defensive line by lying on the player forcing him on his back etc).

Although "There are no rules!" was the tagline in the early 1990s, this was not strictly true; the UFC operated with limited rules. There was no biting, no eye gouging, and techniques such as hair pulling, headbutting, groin strikes and fish hooking were frowned upon, but allowed. In fact, in a UFC 4 qualifying match, two competitors Jason Fairn and Guy Mezger agreed not to pull hair as they both wore pony tails tied back for the match.

The concept for a tournament to discover the world's best fighting style was the brainchild of Art Davie, a southern California-based advertising executive. Davie met Rorion Gracie in 1991 while researching martial arts for a marketing client. Gracie operated a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school in Torrance, California and the Gracie family had a long history of vale-tudo matches—a precursor of mixed martial arts—in Brazil. Davie became Gracie's student.

That was definitely more “phew!” than “yahoo!” as far as McLaren were concerned. Lewis Hamilton totally dominated the German Grand Prix, but was made to work for it thanks to a bad pit call by McLaren once the safety car came out.

Sports injuries are injuries that are caused by participation in a sporting event. In many cases, these types of injuries are due to overuse of a part of the body when participating in a certain activity. For example, runner's knee is a painful condition generally associated with running, while tennis elbow is a form a repetitive stress injury at the elbow, although it does often occur with tennis players. Other types of injuries can be caused by a hard contact with something. This can often cause a broken bone or torn ligament or tendon.
